at all times in life, self-awareness is very important.
self-awareness as well as an awareness for other people's feelings.
you have to be aware of the image you are presenting to other people,
as well as the effects this will have on other people. which includes the circumstances that will tend to lead up to this kind of reaction.
in short, it's all about knowing how to interact with other people sensibly.

obviously, if everyone had this sensibility in them, i wouldn't be talking about something like this :)

SHINee was not created as a band to be insensitively compared with dbsk.
if you haven't noticed, they brought joy into other people's lives just as dbsk brought joy into yours.
the least you could do is show some basic respect.
which would include not commenting insensitively about other people's idols, just as you wouldn't like people to comment insensitively about your idol.
(gosh. i need more vocab than the word 'insensitive'.)

as for the image you are presenting to other people...
everyone wants to look good to others right.
so the least you could do for your own image is to stop showcasing your stupidity.
i have no idea whether you are ignorant or just shameless.
if you are ignorant, i can only say 若要人不知，除非己莫为。
if you dont want others to know about it, dont do it.
things like that, you cannot possibly expect them to fade with time.
especially if you dont make an effort to change others' perspective of you.
