im being lame.

okay haha i have yet to tell anyone about the relink but here's my new post after switching to the new blogger.

mind you, that was an involuntary switch. i was brutally FORCED into it. stupid blogger.

wells wells, i have just had the most wonderful sensation of having three tests in a day, which is already very draining in itself and i find myself spending a lot more time with my pillow than with my homework. tsk tsk tsk, not very good eh.

ms poore marks the tests superrrrrrr fast okay. like you can take the test in the morning and get it back before you go home. whoopeeeee. not complaining though, i mean, its qt a good thing :D ahem, not like if you take the test before chinese new year and you get it like when yuan xiao jie is approaching. and you have to get scolded for it. -hint hint-

oh yessss, the blackboard has now been officially updated to a greenboard!!!!!! lalalala its super fun to write on la. but i think theres a special technique to hold the marker, cos ms poore can get the ink for all the markers out just fine, but mrs tan's handwriting is like invisible on the board. hmm. and its super fun to rub off la. woo-hoo :) fyi, greenboard = whiteboard, except its green. :D

oh yeahhhhh! i love these examples of sheer lack of common sense or first aid knowledge! guess the most irritating thing is that these people are actually trying to spread their wonderful knowledge around. as far as i know, none of these methods really seem to work.

an email i received qt some time ago. in some kind of chain mail thing.
-how to treat stroke: you know how stroke kind of renders one side of your body immobile? use your free hand to take a needle and prick the fingertips of your other hand. after a while, your stroke will cure itself.

(excuse me, stroke is when there is like a blood clot/ruptured blood vessel in the brain, the blood supply to your brain is alr cut off and you are still wasting precious blood by pricking your finger? bu yao ming ah.)

hyperventilation. by a certain someone.
-give the person ten seconds to control his/her breathing.
(ahem, someone is alr breathing unnaturally quickly and you still want to give her a time limit to control it? -knocks on this someone's brain- ahem ahem, dont you think that might actually have a reverse effect???)

-give a BROWN bag pls.
(yes, dear, please give a brown plastic bag and watch your friend suffocate to death.)

-talk, that'll help control the breathing
(whateverrrrrrr. your poor casualty is probably just going to splutter and get even less oxygen.)

sprains/fractures. jesmine told me abt this one but i forgot who told her about it.
-when you get a sprain put your leg in a cast. when you get a fracture you dont have to do anything because it cant be seen.
(i break your leg i see whether you want to do anything about it or not)

heart attack. also contributed by jesmine.
-lie the person down and raise his/her legs to make the heart pump slower.
(hmm. won't the casualty just die faster.)

oh yeahhhh, leadership camp is like next week, and im just looking forward to see how many gu-niangs im going to spot there. that shall be my amusement over the weekend.

if any kee-siao person wishes to find me over next weekend, i'll be at sarimbun scout camp, and good luck to you trekking through the jungles and trying not to get consumed by the overwhelming natural vegetation there :)
